Brief information
The Arc de Triomf was built in 1888 as the main entrance to the Barcelona World Fair. Unlike many other European arches, it is built in a bright brick Neo-Mudéjar style, making it particularly striking and unique.
Today, the arch and its surrounding square are a popular spot for walks and photos, as well as a starting point for visiting the Ciutadella Park. Street performances and festivals are often held here, adding a special atmosphere to the place.
