Brief information
The Picasso Museum (Museu Picasso) is one of the most popular museums in Barcelona, housing the most extensive collection of the artist's works outside of Malaga and Paris. It places special emphasis on Picasso's early period when he lived in Barcelona and was developing his style.
The museum is located in a complex of five medieval palaces from the 14th–15th centuries, featuring courtyards and Gothic halls. It is not only an art collection but also an architectural monument.
🚲 It's convenient to get there by bicycle or scooter from the Gothic Quarter; parking for this type of transport is nearby.
